It never ceases to amaze me how far the bagpipes can take you; by land or by sea it is always a humbling and appreciative opportunity. This past holiday weekend after a couple of parades with the band Colum Cille, my 'mate, Katie and I had the opportunity to play for the Newport Cup in Newport Harbor. The music carried far and wide as we were able to entertain people (& sailors) on neighboring boats (including the Queen Mary II) and the local coastal Newport restaurants. Thank you for the invite, ! 🍻 🎶 ⛵️

Yesterday was a THRILL! I was appreciative that I was able to march with the Providence Tartan Army & RI Highlanders as the Scottish hooligans took over downtown Providence.

It was chaotic yet welcoming. It felt like massed bands as we were marching along the sidewalks, parks and city streets.

Now, I just need to hop the pond and play over in the homeland!!

Hey, Ma! I made the marquee!!

It's the day after St Patrick's Day, I'm back at the day job and wearing pants but I am full of gratitude from my little musical tour of RI. I didn't take many pictures because I was more concerned in getting to the next gig on time but I would like to sincerely thank the establishments that opened their door to let me entertain the masses. It was fun, festive and chaotic and I wouldn't want it any other way. I appreciate ALL that donated to the LAUNDRY FUND. Thank you🎶
