It is with deep sadness that we share that Captain Robert Burns passed away on March 17. Capt Bob spent his life sharing his love of sailing with others. He began his commercial sailing career in 1963 and was still at the helm in October 2025.

Join us in celebrating his life on Saturday, April 11 at the Harbor Hotel (698 Commercial Street, Provincetown) from 10AM to noon.

As we reflect on his 63-year career, we invite you to share your memories of Capt Bob in the comments below.
