This beautiful soul was found alone and lactating on a rural Georgia road — her puppies, heartbreakingly, never found. Used for breeding and then discarded like so many before her, Lilly was taken to Animal Control, where no one came to claim her. She waited. And waited. Still hoping.

*She’s good with other dogs and cats.

Thanks to the shelter and our community, we refused to give up on her. Lilly has been getting the vet care she desperately needed. She’s almost ready to leave the clinic, but she cannot do so unless we have a temporary foster home lined up for her.

Lilly is gentle, quiet, and incredibly sweet, but she’s still learning how to feel safe, loved, and secure. She needs time and patience, and a calm home (kids 12+ only, for now) where she can blossom.

Foster needed ASAP! Help us keep Buddy out of boarding! Buddy is a sweet 12 year-old boy. When his owner died, he was taken to a shelter and left there. We rescued him. His current foster was short term and now it’s time to move him. He may have slightly limited vision, but he maneuvers through the house with no problem. We had him checked out for excessive drinking, but nothing was found to be wrong. He needs to go out often to potty or you may need to use a belly band/ p*e pads.
