My husband Jean (pronounced Jon) is a private pilot and found Punta Gorda on one of his flights with a buddy. Then we started coming here for boating and kayaking. Finally saw that Heritage Landing Golf and Country Club was coming back to life so when my husband had a job change in 2018 we decided to make Punta Gorda our home. I love the quiet and quaint downtown area with its many festivals and l

ocally owned restaurants. We love boating, are learning to golf again and Jean loves fishing. Previously Jean was in the lottery business and I was in Health Care / Cyto-Pathology. Jean is from Montreal and I was born in Massachusetts to a French Canadian family but have literally lived around the world. During COVID Punta Gorda has been a secret haven for us with low infection rates and plenty of outdoor activities to still enjoy. Punta Gorda is a hidden gem in a harbor town.

PSA- Heritage Landing G&CC residents in new single family homes. Call this guy because you probably have that. Lennar does not remove the construction grate on the dryer vents and they will clog up. I changed out my washer and dryer for a smart stacked unit and it sent me a message my dryer vent was 80% blocked. 😱
If you live in a condo make an effort to participate when they offer the dryer vent cleaning.
