trains arriving every 30 minutes, you have the flexibility to explore the many attractions Put-in-Bay has to offer at your own pace. Stops include:

All aboard! 🚂✨ The best way to explore South Bass Island is on the Put-in-Bay Tour Train!

Sit back, relax, and enjoy a guided, open-air tour packed with local history, scenic views, and convenient hop-on, hop-off stops at the island’s favorite destinations—including Heineman's Winery, Perry's Cave Family Fun Center, The Butterfly House, the Lake Erie Island Nature & Wildlife Center, the historic Doller House, and the Aquatic Center.

Our favorite stop along the route? The breathtaking Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial! Standing 352 feet tall over the island, this iconic monument commemorates Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry’s victory in the Battle of Lake Erie during the War of 1812. Step off the train to admire the massive granite column, explore the historic grounds, and take in sweeping views from the observation deck before hopping right back on the next train!

Whether you're visiting for the day or staying for the weekend, the Tour Train makes exploring every corner of the island effortless and fun for all ages.
