One of my personalities is sobbing because the house is too quiet, another is aggressively labeling Tupperware by emotional attachment, and the third just punched a lamp because it made a weird noise. Meanwhile, my oven’s gaslighting me, the houseplants won’t stop judging me, and I’m sweating like a rotisserie chicken at a rave. ADHD, perimenopause, and empty nesting didn’t just throw a party in my brain—they built a haunted escape room, gave the blender a megaphone, and replaced my executive function with a squirrel on Red Bull.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month

Mental health is real, and it's important—but so is hope. As we raise awareness this month, let’s remember that healing and peace are ultimately found in Christ.

Jesus sees your struggles. He cares about your anxiety, your overwhelm, your battles in the unseen. Scripture reminds us:

"Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." – Matthew 11:28

You don’t have to carry it all alone. God is near to the brokenhearted, and His love reaches even into the deepest places of our minds and hearts.

Let this be a month of prayer, grace, and compassion—where we lift one another up and fix our eyes on the One who offers true peace.
