Louisiana's Cajun Bayou would like to welcome all of our visitors coming to Thibodaux this weekend for the 2026 FPUSA Federation of Petanque USA National Men’s Triples Tournament taking place this Saturday, October 24th.

We know our friends with the Thibodaux Petanque Club will provide a warm welcome to those competing! If you would like to go and watch, the first match begins at 8:30 AM in Peltier Park.

We’re taking the spirit of Louisiana’s Cajun Bayou across the Atlantic!

Louisiana’s Cajun Bayou is proud to join the Louisiana Office of Tourism in France and Italy for their upcoming sales and media mission to promote and attract more international visitors to Lafourche Parish!

We will also be on hand to promote Lafourche Parish at this Sunday’s New Orleans Saints game in Paris at the Stade de France.

While prioritizing the safety of our team, the game compliments a full week of meetings with tour operators, travel agents, and media to showcase what makes Lafourche Parish a unique, year-round destination.

Follow along for updates throughout the next week and if you know anyone going to the game this Sunday, let them know to look out for Louisiana’s Cajun Bayou Tourism.

We are running up and down the bayou to tell you that we're just one month away from the Thibodeauxville Fall Festival! 🐤

Save the date! On Saturday, November 14th we celebrate in Downtown Thibodaux with a full day of live music, over 100 local arts and crafts vendors, great food and drink options, a car show, and the famous rubber duck race in the bayou.
