While in Paris, I stayed at Hotel 34B Astotel in the 9th arrondissement near Grands Boulevards. Excellent hotel with a delicious daily breakfast buffet and complimentary evening snacks and beverages. It was super close to several metro stops including Gare du Nord (we walked only 15 minutes when we arrived from the train station to the hotel). Unique neighborhood with tons of restaurants and bars. One of the best meals we had was at Raviolis de chez Moi (fantastic dumplings!) We also enjoyed ice cream and crepes at La Creme de Paris. While in Paris we went to Notre Dame, the top of the Eiffel Tower at night (incredible!), Versailles, the Louvre, Disneyland Paris, and the Arc de Triomphe. I would definitely go back to Paris one day!

I recently returned from a European vacation (4 nights in London and 4 nights in Paris). In London, I stayed at the Mercure London Bloomsbury hotel which offered a daily breakfast buffet and had a great bar! Perfect location for catching the Tube each day as well as close to St. Pancras International to catch the Eurostar to Paris. It was a 5-minute walk to the British Museum and excellent restaurants like Cafe Tropea in Russell Square and Nonna Selena. While in London we saw all of the major sites (Buckingham Palace with St. James Park), Tower of London, Harrods, Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, Seven Dials Market and Victoria and Alberts museum). We did a great Harry Potter tour (Tour for Muggles) from Leadenhall market and got to see a lot of the city on foot. Highly recommend!
