Today we’re introducing Laura Murphy, one of our amazing travel advisors at 1923 Travel! 💙✈️

Laura has been part of the 1923 Travel family for 10 months, and what she loves most about being a travel advisor is hearing her clients’ stories when they return home. ❤️ There’s nothing better than knowing you helped create an incredible trip and unforgettable memories!

🏰 Her favorite destination? Disney World — although she’ll happily take *anywhere in Europe! 🇫🇷🇮🇹🇬🇷

✨ Her specialty? Disney World!

Laura was born and raised in Philadelphia (and yes… Go Birds! 🦅) before spending three unforgettable years living in Paris. She eventually settled in Houston, Texas, with her husband.

In 2024, Laura and her husband welcomed their son, Jacques, who keeps life exciting and full of love! 🥰

When she’s not working as a nurse or planning incredible vacations for her clients, you’ll find Laura reading, hiking, or exploring somewhere new.

There is ONE thing I have heard over and over and over again this week:

“Megan, I’m looking for something for Spring Break 2027, and I’m not finding a lot of options.”

Correct. And I cannot say this enough: if you are looking to travel over Christmas, Thanksgiving, or Spring Break, you need to be booking about a year in advance.

I don’t tell you these things because I enjoy being the bearer of bad news. 😂 I tell you because I don’t want you to be frustrated when you finally decide to book your trip and discover that the resort, room category, cruise, or destination you wanted is no longer available.

Peak travel dates book up FAST. The earlier you plan, the more options you have—and that can make a HUGE difference in both availability and price.

So, consider this another PSA from your friendly neighborhood travel agent. ✈️🌴

Plan early. Your future self will thank you. 😘
