This is what these conferences are all about - Royal Caribbean Cruise Line won supplier of the year for our entire travel agency today and this evening I got to have a 1:1 meeting with our business partner and her assistant myself.

Robin, Yvette, and I now on a first name basis, they know my niche, they want to help me and support my business, and most importantly, they know me as Hanah - former teacher, nonprofit fundraiser, wife, aunt - not just another travel agent.

We had so many discussions in our 1:1 session
📖 Making sure destination book club is ready to go (there’s still space available but I’ll post about that later)
✡️ Kosher cruises
♿️ Accessibility additions to their private islands and navigating ocean adventure (kids clubs)
🩸AND MY FAVORITE CONVO - can we get carb counts for menus if I put together a T1D friendly group sailing. Where families or adults can go on a sailing and know specific restaurants or dining options have carb counts available to help navigate their vacation and managing type 1 diabetes. I say this is my favorite because Robin and Yvette have been doing this for a long time and they haven’t had this situation or question come up before 🤯

This is just day 1 - can’t wait to see what the rest of this conference has in store!

🚨 OUT OF OFFICE LOADING🚨

I will be out of the office from September 19-28, 2026.

I’m traveling to Cancun to experience WORLD26, a gathering of WorldVia travel agents with different training opportunities and many suppliers (like Disney, Royal Caribbean, and Sandals) to meet with. I will be staying at the AVA Resort for WORLD26 and then was also invited to stay in Mexico for an extended familiarization trip where I will be staying at Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya and touring UNICO 2087.

All three of these resorts are all-inclusive options for families or adult-only vacations. Given that these properties are worth it after I personally experience them, I will be adding them to the list of options I book for clients as well 😉

All of my clients that have a booking windows opening or are traveling during this time are covered and have already been notified. If you’ve been thinking about booking that next trip, reach out to me today so we can get it all figured out before September 18th. All communications and inquiries I receive while I’m out of the office will be returned on Tuesday, September 29th.

I did a thing 👀

It’s been a HOT MINUTE since I registered for a Virtual runDisney race. They started doing fewer and fewer of them and it became way more competitive to get signed up before it sold out!

I was able to secure a spot for the upcoming Halloween themed Virtual runDisney but not gonna lie I’m a little nervous about this one. I typically just sign up for the multiple 5k challenges, but this one is different and I definitely didn’t pay enough attention before registering to realize that 😳

I’m {*walking*} a 3, 4, and 6 miler in order to earn my four medals coming in October! It’s as hot and humid as walking through soup here in NC, so this is going to be a miserable journey, but I think I hate treadmills more 🤷🏻‍♀️ Plus, for the last year and a half, I’d much rather life weights than do cardio, so that’s been my focus.

Debating documenting my journey on TikTok, but haven’t decided yet. If you have any advice or want me to make a series out of this very questionable adventure, let me know 👇🏻

Happy 64th Independence Day, Jamaica! 🇯🇲💚💛🖤

Jamaica is so much more than a beautiful island - it’s a place that stays with you long after you leave. From the music and the food to the breathtaking beaches and the incredible people, there’s just something special about Jamaica that keeps calling you back.

Today, I’m celebrating everything that makes this island so unforgettable and wishing everyone a wonderful Independence Day!

If Jamaica has been on your travel list, I hope you will take the trip. There’s so much to see, experience, and fall in love with. I’ve seen some sneak peaks at the brand new reimagined Sandals Caribbean Cay, Sandals Montego Bay, and my personal favorite, Sandals South Coast and they are going to be INCREDIBLE when they reopen at the end of this year.

Here’s to Jamaica, its people, and the memories waiting to be made. Happy Independence Day! 🇯🇲

✨EPCOT Festivals✨

Flower and Garden is really in bloom over at EPCOT right now and is such a fun festival!

So much delicious food from 20+ outdoor kitchens and SO MANY incredible topiaries around the park 😍

Not to mention the colorful gardens and butterfly landing 🦋 Plus you can listen to incredible artists during the Garden Rocks Concert Series.
