A few shots from the start of our amazing week sailing through Sardinia.

- beach yoga with an absolutely breathtaking view of Tavolara Island

I'm headed back to my happy place this week - Croatia!

It's been 7 years since I first started making memories with my favorite Croatian .stambuk in one of my favorite countries in the world. We are a dynamic duo and I wouldn't do it without her.

Follow along as out group of 32 takes over a ship for 7 nights for our flagship Yoga & Yachting retreat!

We are just 24 days away from our 4th Yoga + Yachting retreat in Croatia and my 5th visit in just 6.5 years! Croatia truly feels like my European home away from home. 🇭🇷

I cannot wait to welcome our group of 32 guests as we again take over a 160 ft yacht for island hopping, national park visits, leisurely lunches and morning swim stops.

My friend and local partner .stambuk and I will be spending a few extra days post retreat visiting some towns for a future Yoga + Yachting 2.0 Northern Croatia Route.

This is by popular demand from all the past guests who want to do it all over again but see a new area. 🚢

The scouting trip I took here in 2019 was the impetus for me to quit my corporate job upon my return and take AYR full time. So who knows what this next Croatia scouting excursion will unlock! ☀️ 💦

It's my 40th birthday today 🥳 and I'm just thinking back on how my 30s were a wild ride...

Business wise: scouting my first retreat location at 30, running my first retreat at 31 and running 35 retreats in that subsequent 9 years. I quit my corporate job right before the pandemic to run AYR full time and then gritted my teeth for 2 years to keep this business afloat.

On the personal side: I also got divorced, moved to the Midwest, met my now husband in the Chicago O'Hare airport, moved back to NC, got remarried, had a miscarriage and had a baby... Let's just say a lot has happened since 2016!

But 40 feels good for a lot of reasons. You know who you are and you also know that it only gets better from here. Having many retreat guests in their 40s, 50s, 60s & 70s who are living life to the fullest and fully authentically themselves has taught me that!

Wherever you are in your journey... Keep going. Even when the future is uncertain and you have to turn on your car seat heaters for your back pain from picking up your toddler wrong. 🤣🤣 Happy to be here in a new decade!
