If you’ve seen this this exact view approximately 4,782 times before going to Paris and fully expected it to be one of those places that looks better on social media than it does in real life… I hate to burst your bubble, but it’s pretty fantastic.

Travel Advisor Tip: Go early. The view is beautiful at any hour, but the 47 other people trying to get the exact same content are somewhat less charming.

Allow me to introduce you to Privado Villas at The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess ✨

As a former N. Phoenix/Scottsdale native, this experience blew me away - I truly felt like a princess at The Princess.

Privado is a hotel within a hotel concept and provides the epitome of luxury and exclusivity, with the service starting before you even show up.

I received a call about a week before arrival to ensure I would have the smoothest stay and was given the Privado Concierge number, which was a lifesaver when my PHX flight was 3.5+ hours late and they arranged my car to the hotel in less than 2 minutes.

You’ll arrive through a private, gated entrance, where you’re met by a bellhop who handles your luggage and escorts you into the Privado Lobby.

You’ll sit down with a staff member for check-in and they’ll take you through everything the resort has to offer and make sure any dining reservations, experiences, spa services, etc. are squared away.

Complimentary snacks and beverages are offered in the lobby throughout the day (I personally recommend the charcuterie spread in the afternoon) and when you’re ready, a golf cart will deliver you and your things to your studio/suite.

My Privado Studio was exceptional and they spoiled me with macaroons, adorable chocolate-covered strawberries, a lovely bottle of w**e, as well as a hand written note from the resort.

Privado stays also include complimentary access to the 44,000 sq ft Well & Being Spa - no spa service booking required (which is a rare perk).

There is also an exclusive pool just for Privado guests.

I directly booked a Hera by Accor rate, which is exclusively offered to bookings made through a travel advisor and included the following amenities:
- Free daily breakfast for 2
- $100 Property Credit
- Room upgrade upon availability
- Early Check-In/Late Check-Out

TA disclosure: I directly booked and paid for one night. The Fairmont kindly upgraded me to the Privado Studio and comped one additional night so I could tour the property, experience everything the resort has to offer and best service future clients who would like to stay here.

This is my absolute favorite part of this job ✨

I don’t know that there are words which appropriately describe how special it is to receive photos from clients while they’re enjoying their vacations.

It’s always amazing to hear recap after they’re back home, but to cultivate relationships to the point where you’re getting LIVE updates. Ugh! The best 💛

P.S. For safety reasons, all client photos are posted after they’ve left a travel destination.

Ladies and gentlemen, trust your Travel Advisor.

I cannot tell you how often someone comes to me with an idea, I give them the realistic answer, they decide to book independently anyway… and eventually come back when they realize why I gave them that answer in the first place.

AI is a fantastic resource. I use it too. But when it comes to actually booking your travel, verify the information with someone who does this for a living.

Ahh Versailles, where the Hall of Mirrors mesmerizes its guests, and make no mistake, there are MANY guests who come to visit its splendor.

However, there’s a secret area of this famous palace that many people don’t know about. Scroll to know more.

You can book a tour to visit the secret apartments of Marie Antoinette, herself, and it starts just off to the right side of the public entrance.

Once you’ve been walked through the unassuming gate, that onlookers will absolutely be intrigued by and one might even attempt to join you, your tour will begin.

You walk up a set of stairs and come upon this room of famous portraits, with Marie taking her rightful place at the center of the room.

From there, you’ll pass through the dog’s chambers (yes, really!) before setting your sights on Marie’s bedroom, which is both grandiose and splendid.

You’ll continue to make your way through a number of rooms, and notice small, but not-so-subtle touches reminding you who the head of the household was.

The rooms are quite alluring and the design theme maintains itself while still appealing to the nature of the room, but what you might find yourself most impressed by…

There are no words for the beauty of Versailles.

Most visitors come for the Hall of Mirrors (and rightfully so), but tucked behind the public areas are intimate royal apartments you can also tour, including the bedroom of Marie Antoinette herself.

And honestly? They might have been my favorite part.

The last month was absolutely incredible! ✨

I’m thrilled to announce I’ve hit Pro with my agency Fora Travel. This means I have even stronger relationships with travel partners globally. With a direct line to our preferred partners, you can expect even more elevated experiences.

And speaking of global, I also took a river cruise down the Seine with Uniworld River Cruises! Started off with a hotel stay at Hôtel L de Lutèce **** in Paris, then cruised throughout Normandy, visiting places like Rouen’s Cathedral, Monet’s Gardens and Versailles, before heading back to Paris to see the Eiffel Tower and roam through the Luxembourg Gardens.

Trips like this deepen my understanding of these incredible places, as well as give me first-hand experience with incredible hotel & cruise partners, allowing me to better provide services to my clients.
