Twin Lakes Bear Lodge is located in the remote Selkirk Mountain range on Lower Twin Lakes, Idaho. This is your ideal destination that takes you away from the 'ordinary' and puts you in the middle of the 'extraordinary.' This seven room building lodges up to 12 individuals comfortably in its two bedrooms and roomy loft and features two decks, a recreation room/un-stocked bar, fully furnished kitche

n, and a stunning living room. One of the two full bathrooms contains a large Jacuzzi tub to soak away an intense day of play. The large private beach includes a fire pit, picnic table, two fully equipped canoes and a 25’ dock. Book now to get the vacation of your life started. Community:
Twin Lakes area accommodates many activities, including golfing, swimming, boating, biking, hiking, and fishing. It is only five miles away from quaint Rathdrum, ID where all your vacationing needs can be met. Get lost in the local life by exploring the farmers market, dancing to the music at the park, browsing the gift shops, or dining at the fine local restaurants. Looking for a day of city bustle? Coeur d’Alene, ID is only 18 miles away and is home to more recognizable shopping and eating venues, lake tours, and the Coeur d’Alene Casino. Twin Lakes Bear Lodge is 16 miles to Silverwood Theme Park, the largest theme park of the Pacific Northwest. When you’re ready to go home, the Spokane International Airport is only 40 miles away. For years different pieces of lake property were scouted out, looking for the perfect place to build a home and, in the 1970’s, a house was finally built. Each piece of knotty cedar, furniture, and many other things were chosen with care and, during their travels, Mr. Nyberg brought additional curiosities and treasures into their home, to the delight of their family. In 2005, on one of their many adventures, Mrs. Nyberg fell ill and, soon after, passed away. Her husband, stricken by grief, rapidly fell victim to dementia and was unable to live on his own, placing a huge financial burden on his next of kin. Wanting only the very best care for their father, the children rented out their parents’ pride and joy. Many of the decorations still remain in the house so the world can share in the majesty, tranquility and adventure that the couple held dear for years. Bring a chair and sit down for the concert or walk up and down main street to shop our vendors.
Event starts at 5:00pm and goes until 8:00pm. We hope to see you all there.

Races will held in the teachers parking lot
Lakeland High School (Super 1 side) in the grassy area.
Check in begins at 2:00 PM - 3:15 PM
Races begin at 3:30 PM

Entry fee:
$10 per dog

All Proceeds will benefit Furry Farms:
A non-profit animal rescue established in 2017 serving North Idaho and surrounding vicinity. The farm hands bring rescue and animal welfare together with a focus on our local community needs. Furry Farm concentrates on those most at risk, be it their medical needs, background, or baggage. They are not a high volume rescue, instead specializing in doing acute care, long term recovery and rehabilitation. Furry Farms operates as volunteer only, with all of our animals in the care of foster volunteers at their residence. There is no "farm" or building to come visit animals at this time and all of our adoptions start with the application process found on this website.
The Furry Farm Rescue's Mission is to save dogs most at risk in our local shelter systems: be it medical, seniors or puppies and provide them with a safe environment to thrive again.

The 2025 Rathdrum Summer Concert Series is finalized, and we have an amazing line-up!

Five different concerts brings a variety of music genres to you all summer long.

Located at the beautiful Majestic Park and Downtown Rathdrum on main Street, this free family friendly event will make you want dance in the park while enjoying our North Idaho summer.

July 11th - Sammy Eubanks Music brings his country, blues, and rock & roll to Rathdrum. Sammy has won the "Best Male Vocalist" award 10 times in the state of Washington. From East to West he is widely regarded as "THE VOICE".

July 18th - Motown band Nu Jack City began 20 years ago as the passion project of band leader Max Daniels and his sister Monee Hamm. Over the years, the band has grown to 10 members, including another sister, and plays at a variety of venues around the Inland Northwest.

July 25th - Soul Proprietor is a high energy 9-piece horn band based in Spokane, WA that plays the best of Classic Funk, Soul and R&B.

Aug 1st - Royale is a powerhouse cover band that will provide the hits to keep you moving and grooving on the dance floor all night.
