Did you know: many Disney resorts offer scavenger hunts, and they are such a fun way to explore.

We love doing them on arrival day to get familiar with our “home” for the next few days. Just ask the front desk for a copy or where to find one. And the best part is you do not even have to be staying at the resort to enjoy them, they make a great activity on a slower park day.

Throwback to our Pop Century days when my boys were little 🥹 These little extras are part of what make Disney resorts feel so special.

One of the questions I get asked most is, "Are Disney's special events worth it?"
My answer is usually: it depends on what you love.

For me, Halloween at Disney is absolutely worth it. The exclusive entertainment, lower wait times for attractions, unique character experiences, trick-or-treating, and details like the Hatbox Ghosts make the event feel completely different from a regular park day.

That's why I always help clients decide whether a special event fits their family's vacation style before they spend the extra money.

Not every add-on is worth it for every family, but the right one can become the highlight of the trip.

The carpet on Disney Cruise ships can actually help you figure out where you are going.

If the design on the carpet is right side up, you are walking toward the front of the ship. If it is upside down, you are heading toward the back. It is a simple little trick that makes navigating the ship so much easier once you know it.

One of the biggest mistakes I see Disney guests make is trying to do everything.

You can't. And honestly, you shouldn't.

Some of our favorite Disney memories came from slowing down and doing the things that mattered most to us, like character experiences, shows, and those unexpected moments that become family stories.

I don't think people realize just how BIG this guy is until they see him in person. 😂

One of my favorite things about holiday travel is experiencing destinations when they are completely transformed for the season.

The decorations, special entertainment, festive food, and little surprises everywhere make the parks feel like an entirely different experience.

Did you know your child’s first haircut can be at Walt Disney World?

Harmony Barber Shop at Magic Kingdom is known for “first haircut” experiences and they do about 10 to 15 of them a day.

The experience includes a keepsake lock of your child’s trimmed hair, a certificate, and special Mickey ears embroidered for the occasion.

We did this with my son 9 years ago, and I still love looking back at those photos. 🥹💙
