My Disney story started when I was FIVE years old. ✨

My grandparents took me to Walt Disney World for the first time, and I still remember dressing up as Alice from Alice in Wonderland and having my picture taken with all of the characters.

That was it. I was hooked. ❤️

What started as a childhood love of Disney eventually became a career I never could have imagined. I've spent years learning the parks, resorts, restaurants, cruise ships, attractions, strategies and all the little details that can make a family vacation better. And now I get to take something I loved as a kid and use it to help other families create their own memories.

Pretty cool, right?

And yes… little Amanda would be VERY excited about what she gets to do for a living now. 🥹✨

Park-to-Park ticket = Hogwarts Express access.

Literal magic. 🪄🚂

One of my favorite things about Universal Orlando is that the Hogwarts Express isn't just transportation. It's part of the experience. You can board at King's Cross Station in London, travel through the countryside and arrive in Hogsmeade. And then you can do it all in reverse.

If you're a Harry Potter fan, this is one of those little details that can make a Universal vacation feel EXTRA special.

Just remember: you need a Park-to-Park ticket to ride the Hogwarts Express.

That's the kind of little detail I'm here to help you figure out BEFORE you get there. 😉

✨ The first time we went to Disney as a family, I got it all wrong. I thought we had to be at rope drop every single day. Then I thought we had to stay in the parks ALL day to “get our money’s worth.” No breaks. No rest. No slowing down.

And by the end of the trip? We were exhausted. 😅

Over the years, I’ve learned that a great Disney vacation isn't about seeing and doing absolutely everything. It’s about knowing what matters most to YOUR family.

Maybe that means rope dropping one day and sleeping in the next.
Maybe it means a midday pool break.
Maybe it means skipping a ride everyone says you “have” to do because your kids would rather meet characters.

Disney doesn't have to be go-go-go. Your vacation should create memories, not exhaustion. 💙

And that's something I keep in mind when I plan Disney vacations for my clients. I want you to have an amazing trip, but I also want you to actually ENJOY it. ✨

You know what I love most about being a travel advisor?

It's not just booking the trip. It's getting to watch families come back to me again and again and getting to be a small part of their story. ❤️ This is one of my longtime clients, and this photo is from one of their Disney Cruise Line adventures.

The vacations are different. The kids grow. The trips change. But getting that message afterward saying, “We had the BEST time!” never gets old.

Because I'm not just booking a vacation. I'm helping plan the moments you'll remember long after the suitcases are unpacked. And when a family trusts me with those moments over and over again?

That means more to me than I can really put into words. ❤️

✨ A little Disney tip that can make your vacation SO much easier: You do NOT have to spend your entire Disney day in the parks.

In fact, I often recommend building in a break, especially for families with younger kids. Go to the park in the morning. Have lunch. Head back to the resort for a swim, nap or just some quiet time. Then go back to the parks in the evening when everyone is refreshed. 🌴✨

Yes, you paid for the park. But you also paid for a VACATION. ❤️ And sometimes the best Disney strategy is knowing when to slow down.
