A massive tail-wagging thank you to everyone who braved the heat to support the Tehama County K9 Foundation at our fundraiser last Friday! We’re wagging our tails with gratitude for our amazing community. A special bark-out to some super generous supporters: Tehama County Gun Owners, who chipped in a pawsome $500, and David & Janie Dubbs for their fetching $200! We’re 100% powered by your generosity and couldn’t fetch success without you! A round of applause for our fabulous sponsors, raffle item donors, and, of course, our top-dog volunteers. It truly takes a village, and we couldn’t be more grateful for ours!

What a "RUFF" day conquering the heat to support the "TOP DAWGS" of Tehama County!!! Nothing like being able to participate and give back at such a rewarding event such as this. Look forward to next time! ***Sacramento River Discovery Center through face painting was able to donate 100% of proceeds to our wonderful K-9's! Special thanks to all who attended and a super special thanks to those who participated! (Even the ones who paid us NOT to paint his/her face - NEXT TIME!!!)

CALLING ALL......EVERYONE! The Sacramento River Discovery Center is at the Red Bluff Farmers Market EVERY Wednesday! The Red Bluff-Tehama County Chamber of Commerce puts on a wonderful evening of food vendors, craft tables, live music and more from 5pm - 8pm on the corner of Pins St. & Washington St.

Children OF ALL AGES (yes adults too!) can stop by our table for a free face painting! This coming week's live music performed by: Sweet Revenge - country music!

Summer is here!!! Have you been out to the Sacramento River Discovery Center this week?!? This is YOUR official invite to come on down and explore the garden, visit the museum and read a book, say the "word of the month" and you leave with a plant of your very own! (it's "ZENITH" - When the sun reaches its zenith, it is at its highest point in the sky)

We had a wonderful time with TALC. They do excellent work, and we're fortunate to be partners with them. It's never too early to start learning about gardening, and my granddaughter, Willow, joined in for the fun.
