Okay Disney Cruise Line… you officially have my attention!

Disney just released some of its plans for Fall 2027 and Spring 2028, and there are some really fun changes coming!

The one that immediately jumped out at me? The Disney Wish is heading to NEW YORK CITY! Disney hasn’t sailed from New York since 2023, and there will be 7 cruises from NYC before the Wish heads to San Juan and eventually back to Port Canaveral.

Disney Fantasy will be spending time in Port Canaveral, San Juan and Fort Lauderdale, while Disney Destiny is making the move to Port Canaveral. And Disney Magic will actually cross the Panama Canal twice as it moves between San Diego and Galveston!

I love seeing Disney move the ships around and give us some completely different options. And you all know that combining Disney + New York City is going to get my attention every single time.

Meet Michelle Stuck

We're continuing our introductions to the people behind The Journey Circle, and next up is someone who believes one of the best parts of travel is making sure everyone feels cared for along the way.

Meet Michelle. 💙

Michelle is the owner of Enchanted Serendipity Travel Co. and a full-time travel advisor from rural South Dakota. She's a wife, mom, grandma, community volunteer, Disney lover, and someone who finds just as much joy in watching someone else experience a destination for the first time as she does experiencing it herself.

A few things to know before traveling with Michelle:

🇬🇧 Bucket list: The United Kingdom
🍕 Favorite travel food: New York City pizza
✨ Travel style: Intentional. Curious. Magical.
😴 Hidden talent: Apparently, world-class napping. 😂

But our favorite answer might be what's in her carry-on.

Michelle calls it "Pixie Dust."

She brings extra little things for people she meets while traveling: fidget toys for kids waiting in line, gum for someone having trouble with their ears on the plane, Band-Aids for sore feet, stickers, bracelets and high fives.

Because for Michelle, travel isn't only about where she's going. It's about how people feel along the way.

And that's exactly the kind of spirit we're building into The Journey Circle.

You can Google a vacation. You can ask AI to build an itinerary. So why use a travel advisor?

It's a fair question.

There has never been more travel information available to us. The challenge isn't finding information anymore. It's knowing which information actually applies to you.

A resort can have thousands of five-star reviews and still be completely wrong for your family.

The "best" room category might not be worth the upgrade.

A beautiful resort on Instagram might have a beach you wouldn't actually enjoy.

And an itinerary that looks perfect on paper might be exhausting once you're living it.

That's where experience matters.

A good travel advisor doesn't just find options. We ask questions, understand how you actually like to travel, know what details to look for, and help sort through all of the noise.

And when we haven't personally experienced something? We have a network of advisors, suppliers, and industry partners we can turn to for firsthand knowledge.

Technology has made planning travel easier in a lot of ways.

But more information hasn't necessarily made choosing easier.

Sometimes the real value is having a person who knows what questions to ask.
