Great time representing Expedia CruiseShipCenters at the Holland America Line PartnerSHIPS Travel Alaska event! Highlight of course was meeting "Zig". Zig is 4 time Iditarod champion Jeff King's husky. Yes, he is a husky. Jeff says any dog pulling a sled is by definition, a husky. Zig is now retired but pulled Jeff in 6 Iditarods. Jeff has raced 29 times. Crazy. Tons of great vendors and information at this show. Alaska rocks! If you are interested, I can get you there!

Connecting after 25+ years... priceless! I can't even remember exactly the last time I saw Carol and Don, but it was at least 25 years ago. I was living in San Diego and they moved up to the Fresno area. We have stayed in touch via Christmas cards over all these years. Well, last Christmas I announced in my card that I had taken on a second job as a Travel Consultant at Expedia CruiseShipCenters. They contacted me earlier this year and said "Hey, we want to go on a cruise to Alaska for our wedding Anniversary, so we figured we would book through you!" I booked the cruise for them and lucky for me they had a 4 hour layover at Seatac after their cruise. We went to lunch and got caught up with our lives, heard all about their cruise (went awesome! Yeah!) and talked forever like we had just seen each other a few weeks ago. SO FUN! I love how that friendship connection never dies. Lastly, a bonus for me- they booked another cruise with me! Thanks Don and Carol!
