Hamptons Adventures Welcome to Hamptons page! Hampton is a travel enthusiast, and is enjoying life with his 2 non-stuffie kitty friends and his Miss momma ma'am.

Hampton is a stuffie that was left behind at the Hampton Inn in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. After over a month of searching for his family, through social media and calling well over 100 guests, Hampton has been adopted (by a slightly crazy front desk employee) and will become our unofficial mascot. Hampton will be traveling and sharing his adventures here on his very own page!

Facebook friends, we need your help! Sick kids in the hospital for Christmas gets a BIG Bah Humbug from all of us here in hotel land. Please consider donating a toy. There will be a caravan going to Nemours Children's Hospital on December 15. Wouldn't it be amazing if the most toys donated came from a lost toy? I think that would be the coolest Christmas gift ever. If you are one of our out of state guests and you would like to donate, please send toys from Amazon, Walmart, wherever you shop to:

Honest review of the properties we stayed at during our trip:

Hilton Garden Inn Terre Haute - beautiful property in downtown. Away from the highway, close to tourist spots.

Hilton Garden Inn Topeka - clean and wonderful front desk agents! Close to I-70.

Hilton Garden Inn Gallup - we liked this property so much we changed our returning itinerary to come back. Excellent front desk. Close to highway. Restaurants in walking distance. Very nice pool.

Hampton Inn & Suites Phoenix Tempe - weird location, BUT great hotel. Outdoor pool was wonderful. Maintenance and housekeeping were on point.

Grand Canyon Railway Hotel - older property, but extremely clean and well appointed. Staff was absolutely incredible. Always smiling, polite, friendly, and very good at their jobs! Everyone on the train was top notch as well. Cannot say enough good things about the staff here. Not a Hilton property.

Maswik Lodge Grand Canyon - room was nice. Fridge was by the bathroom, and no microwave. Front desk was SO over the top rude. My mom walks with a cane and I asked for a room closer to the bus stop. I ruined their whole lives with this request. Young lady was snarky for the next 3 days. Wasn't a great experience. Not a Hilton property.

Hilton Santa Fe Buffalo Thunder - Excellent property! There is nothing here that isn't good. Lobby is beautifully decorated in Native American decor. The artwork, pottery, paintings, clothing, etc felt like being in a museum. Was stunning and informative. Room was huge. Bathroom was enormous. Staff was A+++. Restaurants in the hotel were delicious. Casino restaurant was meh, but good if you're just looking for a burger. Indoor and outdoor pools were heated, clean, and well maintained. It's out of the way, but definitely worth the drive.

Hampton Inn & Suites Amarillo East - Clean, great breakfast, front desk staff was so friendly! Lobby elevator reminded us of Vegas. Nice property.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Joplin - I absolutely love Home2's. So much space when you're sharing a room. Love the lobby and the outdoor space. Front desk was great.

There were 2 other properties we stayed at that I can't review honestly. Our code of conduct prohibits us from anything that could hurt another property. Understand that not all properties are the same, and read the reviews online. Remember that if you have a bad experience, call guest assistance. They are there to listen and help.

Hope this helps if you are planning anything out west. We had an amazing trip.

Gorgeous property. I will warn you that it's out in the middle of nowhere, but absolutely deserves a visit if you're out west. Santa Fe will be your closest airport, and they run a shuttle. Try different dates for the best prices, and remember Sunday thru Thursday is always going to be the least expensive stay!
