This is a beef tongue, and Iain and I turned it in to tongue tacos last night. While the first photo is a bit unnerving there’s not a lot that’s tasty about thi. As another ‘last supper’ before he leaves next week, tongue tacos are a long way behind lobster, Peking Duck, slow braised beef ribs etc. His Spanish visa is here, just 3 Spanish lessons left plus packing amd checking in.

I’ve been busy at the house; new hardwood floors, french doors from the master bedroom out on to the pool deck and one or two other improvements. Only 4 summer weeks left to book for 2022. Next year I’ll renovate the downstairs bathrooms. The master ensuite will have a rainfall shower.

We rented this property with Jack Lingo Realtor. The process and communication was smooth and efficient. The house is in a very nice community and everything inside or outside the house is well maintained. The bedrooms are cozy. We enjoyed the screen room, pool and spa, and the grill very much! Easy to drive to the beach and the boardwalk/restaurant area, close to gas station and supermarket. Fins (oyster), Pig and Fish(dinner), Jimmy's(brunch) and Touch of Italy(dinner) are recommended, Crystal(brunch) is not. Be very careful if you park at a parking meter, City is constantly checking, I saw three cars getting ticketed.
