Last Saturday at the YSP Adventures Lake Tahoe Retreat we spent the afternoon on the majestic waters of the lake!

Our girls had the option to explore the lake via kayak, or on a double decker pontoon with a water slide. 🛝

The morning started off crisp but warmed up nicely ad the day progressed. We laughed, we bonded, we adventured! Both groups had the most magical time!

Join us October 7-11, 2026 for five days of adventure and connection with badass sober women in the magical SMOKIES!

We’ll be staying at a resort nestled on the Nantahala river and next to the famous Appalachian trail.

We’ll be hiking to a stunning waterfall, exploring the magic of Fontana Lake on kayak, and embarking on an epic 2-mile zip line tour! There will probably also be the occasional sidequest on the Appalachian trail or meandering along Nantahala River.

When we’re not adventuring we’ll be grounding with yoga, bonding over fireside share circles, digging deep in workshops, and playing connection games that make us LOLLLLL so hard and learn a ton about each other.

SO MANY amazing highlights from the YSP Adventures American River Whitewater Rafting Glamping Retreat! 🌊✨

Nine baddies showed up not knowing each other and left as a sober sisterhood. This adventure was about adrenaline, belly laughs, and the kind of bonding that only happens when you’re spending five days together in nature!

Some of the magic from the weekend:

🌊 Two days of padding Class III-IV whitewater as a TEAM with the pros at American Whitewater Expeditions! We felt SO ALIVE on that river. Shoutout to all the FIRST TIME rafters!!!
🌊 Bonding in our music festival-inspired glamping setup, drinking bubblies, playing games, yapping, giggling, and making memories.
🌊 Getting fed like royalty by Sierra Rizing catering!
🌊 A group hike through the surrounding hills

Watching this group say yes to doing something new, something a little scary, and fully show up for each other the whole way through. That’s what this is all about!!!

Swipe for a recap of last weekend’s Backpacking 101 with YSP Adventures & Blue Ridge Hiking Co, which took place in the magical Pisgah National Forest in North Carolina! 🥾✨

We are still buzzing from this epic weekend full of deep connection, laughter, learning, and proving to ourselves that we don’t need booze to feel empowered and live our best lives!!!

A few highlights include:

❤️ Hiking to a stunning overlook and a waterfall!
❤️ Learning and practicing Leave No Trace principles, because it’s cool to be kind to nature!
❤️ Learning how to pack and carry everything we needed on our backs like rockstars
❤️ Campfire conversations and getting to know an incredible group of women
❤️ Cracking jokes while supporting each other each step of the way
❤️ Learning and practicing the bear hang!
❤️ Tarot magic with Traci Mohl

There’s something special about watching these AMAZING women choose themselves- choose the hard thing, the new thing, the uncomfortable thing. This special group did exactly that, and they carried each other through every step. We are so lucky and beyond grateful to have shared this experience with them!!

NEW THIS YEAR!! An ultra-novice backpacking course for the sober and sober-curious girlies who prefer a shorter hike to camp!

Ya’ll asked so we listened!!! This course offers an easy hike (only .7 miles) to the most STUNNING lakeside camp where we’ll post up for two nights and learn backpacking basics.

Oh and since we’re so close to the trailhead, your awesome guides will bring floating tubes, a paddle board, and hammocks for us to enjoy! IT’S GOING TO BE SO EPIC!!!
