North Star Online School

An online education that combines a challenging curriculum, highly-qualified, local teachers, flexib

North Star Online School is an accredited tuition-free online school in the Washoe County School District serving students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. We embrace students who want options for their education and provide an engaging curriculum platform that requires a higher level of responsibility, but in return allows the student to enjoy more freedom in their education. North Star also has many opportunities for parents to get involved, field trips, and opportunities for socialization. Local, Highly-Qualified Teachers
The North Star Online School offers local, highly-qualified teachers who want to see their students succeed. Our teachers are located on campus and are available at school, by phone, or through email to help and tutor students. High Quality Courses
Our school offers a fully-accredited curriculum that meets all rigorous state standards. You can access these courses 100% online for anytime, anywhere learning. Flexible Schedule
A virtual education allows students to do their schoolwork when they learn best, as well as work around their busy schedules. North Star students can easily work around their practice, competition, or work schedules. They can also work at their own pace, get ahead, and potentially graduate early.
