📍 Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa — my home for the second half of my Disneyland trip ✨

Not that any of the on-property resorts are *that* far at Disneyland, but one of the biggest highlights of the Grand Californian is the unbeatable location. With a private entrance directly into Disney California Adventure Park (and Downtown Disney just steps away), you literally cannot stay anywhere closer. And, the ability to watch the Disneyland Monorail pass by from my balcony deserves a special mention, too 🚆

The iconic Disneyland Hotel isn’t just a hotel — it’s the original. The one that’s been part of Disney history since the very beginning, and every single corner feels like it.

I was so lucky to spend the first two nights of my Disneyland trip staying in the Villas at Disneyland Hotel — and it did not disappoint.

From character breakfasts at Goofy’s Kitchen 🥞🐭, cocktails at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar🍹, retro-themed pools with monorail waterslides and a palette-shaped pool with a Steamboat Willie splash pad at the DLH Villas, this place has a soul that newer resorts just can’t replicate.
