I spend a lot of time planning Disney trips, but some of the best memories can’t be planned at all 💖

This wasn’t a dining reservation, a scheduled character meet-and-greet, or something we had on our itinerary.

We simply turned a corner and there they were.

The look of surprise. The excitement. The conversation he’ll probably forget someday, but the feeling he’ll carry with him much longer.

That’s what I love most about Disney. It’s not always the rides, the hotels, or even the perfectly planned days. It’s the unexpected moments that become part of your family’s story.

Years from now, I may not remember what ride we did next or what time we made it back to the resort. But I’ll remember this smile.

And that’s why we travel. Not for the photos themselves, but for the memories they help us hold onto long after our children have grown.
