Molding Doctors is a organization at UT Dallas geared towards helping students explore opportunities available to them throughout their pre-medical experience. Starting from 2007, we have provided students with a multitude of medically-related service and social events, and have been growing in membership and opportunities every semester.

Last but most definitely not least we have your other Co-President Pavani! Pavani is a Senior Healthcare Studies major with a Biology Minor. She has been involved in MD since her freshman year and this is her third year as an officer! Outside of MD she is a hospice volunteer, has worked as an MA and scribe, works as a Peer Advisor on campus, and is involved in Delta Zeta! In her free time she loves painting, trying new places with my friends, and reading! A fun fact about Pavani is that shes deathly afraid of frogs. Excited to introduce one of your Co-Presidents for this year, Colin! Colin is a senior healthcare studies major, has been involved in MD since his freshman year, and this is his third year as an officer! Colin currently volunteers at a hospice center, and works in a biophysics cancer research lab on campus! He also has experience in shadowing, working as a medical assistant, and studying abroad. In his free time, he enjoys watching anime and tv shows, playing video games, working out, hanging out with his girlfriend, and right now he is training for a Spartan Race! A fun fact about Colin is that he took a solo trip to watch the sunset at the Seven Sisters Cliffs during his study abroad in the UK and missed the last train of the night, so he didn’t get back to his hotel until 4 in the morning. Starting off our amazing exec team with your Vice President, Surya! Surya is a junior majoring in Healthcare Studies, he has been involved in MD since his freshman year, and this is his second year as an officer. On campus, he serves as an Organic Chemistry Tutor for the Chemistry Clinic, a General Chemistry PLTL Leader, and a FYL Leader. Outside of campus, he works as a CNA at a memory care unit in Celina, TX. In his free time, Surya loves trying new food and riding his bike. A fun fact about Surya is that he used to have an afro! Next up we have your Secretary for this year, Jane! Jane is a junior neuroscience major with a minor in Spanish. She has been involved in MD since her freshman year and this is her second year as an officer! On campus, Jane is an EMT with UEMR, a PLTL Team Leader for General Chemistry, and a UTD Student Ambassador. She also conducts clinical research at the Callier Center. In her free time, Jane likes to travel, bake, read, and play the piano or guitar. A fun fact about her is that she has visited nearly all the 50 states. Introducing your treasurer for this year, Arjun! Arjun is a junior majoring in Healthcare Studies, he has been involved in MD since his freshman year, and this is his second year as an officer! Outside of Molding Doctors, Arjun volunteers in hospice care and as an MA at a free clinic. He is also a First-Year Leader and a CPR instructor with Global CPR. In his free time he enjoys photography, astronomy, collecting rocks and minerals, and constantly picking up random hands-on hobbies. A fun fact about Arjun is that he recently started learning archery! Next up we have your Public Relations for this year, Maha! Maha is a sophomore majoring in Neuroscience and Healthcare Studies. She has been involved in MD since her freshman year and this is her first year as an officer! On campus, Maha is apart of the Axon Biology and Neuroinformatics lab, is a TA for GenChem, and volunteers through Comet’s HELP. She is also a licensed NREMT and volunteers with Merit Hospice. In her free time she likes to crochet, drink coffee (a lot!), go shopping, weightlift, and go on walks. A fun fact about Maha is she used to competitively ice skate. She can’t wait to meet everyone at future MD events and her dm’s are always open for questions!

Wrapping up our committees with our other Social Coordinator, Tharun!Tharun is a neuroscience major and music minor, has been involved in MD since his freshman year, and this is his third year as an officer! He currently works as a MA for a podiatry clinic, and participates in cancer research at UTD. Outside of medicine he enjoys weightlifting, playing the guitar, and video games! A fun fact about tharyn is that he won the MD beauty pageant last year. He has a lot of fun socials planned this year and really hopes to see y’all there!

Introducing one of your Social Coordinators this year, Juhi! Juhi is a Junior Healthcare Studies major and Theatre minor! She has been involved in MD since her freshman year and this is her second year as an officer! Juhi is a licensed EMT and currently volunteers in the hospital and in hospice facilities! She’s also a First Year Leader on campus, in Kappa Alpha Theta, and in an organization named Pediatric Hope Project as the Volunteer Coordinator. In her free time she loves to explore new cafes, thrift, and go to concerts. A fun fact about Juhi is that Fanta is her favorite soda flavor!
