Hello and welcome back, members! We would like to announce our first general meeting of the fall semester, which will take place in SLC 2.303 at 7pm on September 7th and 8th. These meetings will cover the same information on both days.

We will be introducing our new officer team for 2022-2023 as well as discussing future events for MD. We have some pretty exciting things planned for the upcoming semester and we hope to see you all there!

The Fundraising Committee is the humanitarian wing of Molding Doctors that organizes engaging campus fundraisers to support worthy local and global causes. Our mission is “To strive to inspire service, global philanthropy, and compassion in future physicians” by giving members the opportunity to personally attach themselves to the cause through fundraisers. In the past years, we have raised thousands of dollars for notable organizations such as the Alzheimer’s Association, UN World Relief Food Programme for Ukrainian Relief, Black Lives Matter, and many more. Members are compassionate, proactive, and enthusiastic about serving the community.

Written applications will be available in mid-September, and interviews will take place shortly after. Please attend the first MD General Body Meeting for more information on the Fundraising Committee, and contact [email protected] if you have any questions.

Hello MD Members, we are excited to announce our upcoming SANIC week that will run from April 18th-April 23rd. We will have a series of interactive workshops from Monday-Friday (4/18-4/22) open for anyone to attend. These workshops will cover important topics relating to medical school applications and interviews. They will take place in the evenings, so stay tuned for the times and locations that will be announced soon! Please fill out the SANIC Workshop Interest Form from the LinkTree in our bio.

On Saturday, April 23rd (8AM-2PM), we have SANIC Day. This is a half-day mock interview process that will have UTD faculty and medical students to provide valuable feedback. SANIC Day is *APPLICATION BASED* so please fill out the application document on our LinkTree in our bio! Applications for SANIC Day are due on April 21st by 11:59PM. For Mock Interview Day, we will only be able to accept around 24 applicants based on the quality of their application and MD involvement.

Hi MD members, this week on 4/7 will be our FINAL general meeting of the 2021-2022 year. We will have a panel of amazing medical students from med schools around DFW to answer questions and give advice, so be sure to attend and come prepared with any questions!

This meeting will be offered in person only, we hope to see you on Thursday at 7pm at GR 4.428!

Hey everyone! Our 5th general meeting of the year is THIS THURSDAY 3/3 at 7:00 pm! We will be covering the entire medical school application process, introducing our upcoming events, and answering any questions in this meeting. The meeting is in person in SCI 1.220, and for those joining online, a Zoom link will be sent out in the MD General GroupMe before the meeting time.

Hello everyone! Our fabulous Fundraising Committee is holding a Valentine’s Day themed fundraiser to help the homeless population in Garland be more protected from cold weather through GLOWS! Please consider donating by purchasing an e-card you can send to anyone (anonymously if requested) and candy grams you can pickup or purchase in person this Friday and next Monday from 11 am - 4 pm at the library!
