When travel thrives, communities thrive. Across the U.S., travel generates $190 billion in tax revenue each year, supporting essential services like education, emergency response, and public safety.
Here in Bryan County, the 2023 numbers tell a powerful story:
$144 million spent by visitors on lodging, dining, shopping, recreation, and transportation during their stay to our 14 hotels and KOA campground.
1,542 tourism-supported jobs
$10.2 million in state and local tax revenue
And a $660 tax savings per household thanks to tourism’s impact!
