The parade down Lancaster Avenue and Main Street will be at 6pm on Friday, followed by a downtown block party. Tailgating and celebrations begin early Saturday morning, and kickoff against West Florida will be at 3pm. Roll Kerns!

Experience The Scottish Highland Games in Richmond, Kentucky this October 17, 2026! - Highland Games are a Scottish tradition and celebration that showcases all thing of Scottish traditions featuring athletic events, music, food, piping, and dancing. While no two games are the same, many offer similar events like the stone carry, caber toss, weight over bar, spear toss, stone put, sword fighting, sack race, archery, and more. 🚧TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Lancaster Ave, Main St, and Water St 🚧
A collision with electrical infrastructure has a powerline down on Lancaster Avenue and stoplights down on both Main Street and Water Street. Temporary stop signs have been placed and utility companies are responding, but the impact could span several hours.
❎Lancaster Avenue between Main and Water Streets is closed until utilities completes their work.
🚗Use Eastern Bypass as a detour, or Irvine Street and Kit Carson Drive if you are navigating to get near downtown.
🛑If you see temporary stop signs, treat them as an All-Way Stop.
🚶‍♀️Phones down, eyes up! Do not drive or walk distracted - always keep your eyes on the road and be mindful of other drivers and pedestrians.
