The weather was far from perfect, but the day was grand. We had a lovely lunch featuring crab cake sandwiches and key lime pie. Afterward we explored the boardwalk for a bit before heading to the Convention Center to see the artists and craftsmen of the Neptune Festival! We ended the day with fresh made waffle cones at Doumar’s Ice Cream in Norfolk.

We could not have asked for better weather as we took a ride on the Virginia Scenic Railroad. We had a delicious lunch in our private dining car. Afterwards, we had a guided tour of Staunton featuring Trinity Church. Next, on our agenda was free time in downtown for shopping and ice cream.

Our Touch of Class group had a nice trip to D.C. to see the Nationals play the Braves. A very close game forv4vinnings and then a rain delay (handled really well by the stadium) and then the Braves took.over the game for an 8-0 win! We got to see the entire game and the rain provided heat relief!

What a special trip this is been so far! SignaTours has a great group of 20 people on a Rhine river cruise at the moment...

What a special trip this is been so far! SignaTours has a great group of 20 people on a Rhine river cruise at the moment. We spent two nights in the beautiful city of Lucerne, Switzerland.
