LifeTides Institute LifeTides Institute is committed to conservation, education, and exploration.

LifeTides Institute was founded in 2003 under the name Palm Key Institute, to provide educational opportunities as diverse as the environment and the arts for adults and children. The Institute has collaborated with the Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton and Jasper County School Systems; the Boys and Girls Clubs of Beaufort and Jasper Counties; has been part of the Bridging the Gap Program; organized art

and theater events and festivals; and made every effort to educate the general public and our school children with regard to environmental appreciation and conservation. The Institute has also created and implemented programs for Elderhostel participants and is now serving their new Road Scholar program with educational programming from BBQing to Kayaking. The name was changed to LifeTides Institute in 2010, but our goals and dedication to the environment and to educational programs remain unchanged.
