This is one of my absolute favorite places in the world. ✨

Every time I’m in Puglia, I feel it instantly.

The whitewashed towns.
The flowers spilling out of every doorway.
The slow lunches.
The olive trees.
The way the whole region feels warm, generous, and completely unpretentious.

It’s the kind of place that doesn’t ask you to rush.

And that’s exactly why I love bringing women here.

It's one moment from our newest journey: Venice, Asolo & the Prosecco Hills — April 1–9, 2027.

Nine days. Twelve women. Five nights in the heart of Venice, three in a celebrated villa in the Veneto hills. A chef's home kitchen, a private mosaic workshop, Murano glass, Amarone in Valpolicella, Prosecco in the UNESCO hills, a farewell dinner on the terrace.

This was day two.

And the thing I noticed wasn’t how well everyone was getting along. It was how relaxed they looked.

Shoulders down. Faces soft. Nobody checking a phone or running a mental list of what came next.

That doesn’t usually happen on day two. At home it can take most of a vacation just to stop bracing. But when someone else is holding the plan, when the day is built around long breakfasts and slow walks through gardens like this one, the rest comes faster than you’d think.

This is what I mean when I say these trips are restorative. It isn’t the castles. It’s the permission to put everything down.

Ladies, I had to share this with you.

The woman on the left is , on our 2024 Hidden Scotland trip. Her first time in Europe. She went alone. She was scared. She went anyway.

The woman on the right is a few weeks ago, on our Britain trip in May 2026, back in the UK with friends she met on that first Scotland trip.

Two Olegana trips. Two years apart. One brave woman who decided not to wait.

Here is what she said, in her own words, with her permission to share:

“Don’t wait. Go for the things you want to do. I learned I’m stronger than I think, capable of taking on challenges, and most of all am worth the risks.”

Me pretending I climbed 35 floors for the plants and not the view and prosecco 🌿🥂

Our Castles & Gardens group said farewell to London the only way that made sense: golden hour at Sky Garden, one last toast, and the kind of view that makes you forget your feet hurt from a week of cobblestones.

From the Poison Garden at Alnwick Castle to afternoon tea at Floors Castle, from the royal grandeur of Windsor and Blenheim Palace to the floral spectacle of the Chelsea Flower Show, what a magical journey with the most wonderful group of women.

Already missing you all. 💛

The good news? We’re doing it all again in May 2027. Castles, gardens, gorgeous countryside hotels, and a final night that ends exactly like this one.

I know. Hear me out.

The old town has gotten genuinely rundown. The restaurants charge Michelin prices for honestly mediocre food.

And the “magic” everyone gushes about? It’s mostly the name on the postcard and a few yachts in the harbor.

The Côte d’Azur has so much more to offer if you skip the hype:

✨ Cap d’Antibes for old-world glamour without the crush
✨ Èze for a medieval village hanging over the Mediterranean
✨ Villefranche-sur-Mer for that storybook fishing port feel
✨ Menton for belle époque charm and lemon trees on every corner
✨ Cassis for the calanques and zero pretension

The French Riviera is one of my favorite regions in the world. It just isn’t where most travelers think it is.

Melina checking in from Bari while our spring Puglia group wraps up one last round of shopping. 🇮🇹

Eight days. Sixteen women. One unforgettable week of long lunches in Ceglie Messapica, sunset aperitivos, hand-rolled orecchiette, and the kind of conversations that only happen when you take women out of their everyday lives and drop them into the Italian countryside together.

What started as a group of strangers is ending in teary goodbyes, group chats that won’t go quiet, and travel plans for next year already in motion. This is what we mean when we say small-group travel changes things.

There’s a moment on every Puglia trip when the food’s been cleared, the folk music starts, and suddenly we’re all on our feet.

Clapping with strangers who feel like old friends by the end of the song. Trying to follow the steps. Laughing when we get them wrong.

No phones. No plan. Just sixteen women, a courtyard strung with lights, and the kind of night you can’t plan for, only show up to.
