So… what have we been up to lately? A LOT. 👀

Sometimes people hear “travel agent” and immediately think Disney or a cruise. And yes — we absolutely do those! But we thought it might be fun to give you a little peek behind the scenes at just a few of the trips our Booked Family Travel team has been working on lately. 🌎

Right now, we’re planning…

* A Christmas market trip through Austria & Germany
* A summer California adventure to see the Redwoods & Yosemite
* Disney in the spring
* A Christmas trip to Universal
* Final details for a group of 20 heading to Europe for a Mediterranean cruise this October
* A girls’ getaway to the Dominican Republic
* A trip to Banff & Lake Louise, Canada for next summer

And that’s just what’s currently in the works!

In the last week alone, we’ve also booked…

🎸 A Fall Break trip to Nashville
⛷️ A ski trip to Switzerland

So when we say we plan travel, we really do mean all kinds of travel. ❤️ From family vacations and cruises to Europe, ski trips, girls’ trips, group travel and everything in between — no two weeks around here ever look quite the same!

At this point, South Georgia is not experiencing summer. We are being personally attacked by the sun. 😂☀️

So if you need me over the next couple of days, I’ll be somewhere in the air conditioning looking at pictures of places where the temperature starts with a 7.

School is back. Sports are starting. Homework is back. Calendars are filling up. There are practices, dinners, laundry, early mornings, packed lunches…and somehow we’re all supposed to remember where everybody needs to be and when. 😅

There’s something nice about getting back into a routine after summer, but whew — getting back INTO the routine is exhausting.

And maybe that’s one of the reasons I love having a trip on the calendar.

Not necessarily because I need to escape life…but because in the middle of all the regular, everyday busy, it feels really good to have a little square on the calendar that says:

VACATION. ❤️

A few days when somebody else cooks dinner.
No homework.
No practice.
No alarm clock if you’re lucky.
Just time together and a chance to recharge.

So if August already has you feeling like it should be November…you’re definitely not alone. 😂
