Hello All,

I hope this finds your family healthy, happy, and prospering. God has been good to us here at Toah Nipi and since He is a good God we know he has been good to you all as well. I am writing to you today to give a little information on a volunteer weekend that we have coming up in April. Saturday 23rd is the day to put on your calendars.

Here is a brief overview…..
--Friday night people can arrive as they wish but around 8pm we will have a gathering and pizza. (this allows for people to work all day Friday, and for students that come to be able to get all their classes in)
--Saturday morning breakfast at 8
--8:45 Work begins
--12:00 Lunch
--12:45 Work session 2
--3:30 Project wrap up/clean up
--4:00 Feast….We will get together for a big yummy meal and a thank you/wrap up/overview of all we accomplished

Over the past couple years we have been seeing an increase in the number of people coming to help us for the weekend, primarily this has been college IV fellowship students. I would really love to see some of our family camp families this year! Both families and students are dear to our hearts and are the two primary reasons that we exist as a facility. Improving the experience of these two groups is the focus of our projects and facility improvements each year. We would love for you to partner with us in this. I have been in contact with a few local contractors that are like Toah Nipi family, and it looks like some of them are willing to come and donate their time and skills and help lead different work crews. Listed below are a few other projects I would love help with.

A few Specific needs I have this year…..
1. I need a handy person capable of replacing bathroom faucets. (maybe 1 family works together to get this done in a day?)

2. Screen Repair. I have a lot of screens that need to be repaired. I have the tools and material just need a patient person with the ability to do this…..YouTube it!

3. Painting new hiking trail markers….We are changing our trail system and the whole thing needs repainted. I need someone that can read a map and has a sense of direction.

This is just a few….maybe you have ideas of other things you noticed last time you were here….im open to suggestions

There will also be general spring property clean up, spring inside clean up and a host of other projects.

Maybe you or your family can’t make it but would like to help by donating? Our biggest need is funds to purchase materials for some of the projects. If this is something your family is interested in helping with please contact me and we can discuss it more specifically.

As the time draws closer I will pass along additional details. Stay warm the next few weeks of winter and keep us in your payers, as we pray for you.

We did not have comprehensive coverage on the 12 year old truck and if/what insurance will cover is uncertain pending court decisions. $7,500 has been offered toward the purchase of a 1 Ton plow truck if matching gifts can be found. URGENT NEED - In the brief window between our final week of Family Camp and InterVarsity New England’s Regional Staff Conference the Toah Nipi plow truck was stolen and totaled. Our 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 XLT was a work horse for Camp hauling trash, brush, stone, and handling snow removal. By the grace of God, the two boys who stole the truck (15 & 16 years of age neither with a driver’s license) walked away from the mangled vehicle. If God has blessed you in a way to help us with the purchase or gift of a 1 Ton plow truck we would appreciate your help!! Please contact Jonathan Burt at [email protected] or (603) 899-5464. We will need to raise $10-$15,000 for a truck and plow system before snow.
