Machu Picchu was built in the 15th century, around 1450 AD, while construction on the Roman Colosseum began around 72 AD and was completed around 80 AD.

That means the Colosseum is roughly 1,350 years older than Machu Picchu! 🤯

Two incredible landmarks, separated by more than a thousand years of history. 🌎
