Main Street Ripley A certified Main Street organization dedicated to enhancing the economic vitality of Ripley.

Main Street Ripley is a certified program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation internationally recognized Main Street Program and Main Street West Virginia which is located in the West Virginia Community Development office. Selected in July of 1998, Main Street Ripley continues to work through the Main Street Four Point Approach of Organization, Promotion, Design, and Economic Restructuring to revitalize the historic commercial district. Projects such as restoration of the Alpine Theater, provide a sense of pride and a place of belonging enjoyed by Jackson County citizens and the thousands of visitors that travel to our community annually. Main Street Ripley invites and encourages volunteers of all ages to join us in making a difference. As a nonprofit organization with a 501(c)(3) status all financial contributions to the organization may be tax deductible.

Fright Nights continue tonight and tomorrow night at Dutch Miller on 33 in Ripley. Look for the skeletons and the Fright Nights sign by the orange jeep.

Tonight’s movie is “Ghostbusters” sponsored by Ripley’s Auto Glass. Saturday’s movie is “Nightmare before Christmas” sponsored by Maka Mia Pizza, Subs & Pub. Movies start at 8pm

Movies are $2 for children and $5 for adults. Popcorn, candy and refreshments are available for purchase.

Once again a big thank you to Dutch Miller of Ripley for their help as our beloved The Alpine Theatre is closed for repairs.

And another big thank you to our Alpine Crew, Anne Marie Blizzard, Lee Blizzard and Corey Dale for adapting so effortlessly!
