2026 River Falls Chamber Golf Tournament

- A Swinging Success -

Yesterday's golf tournament was an incredible triumph, bringing together 108 golfers for a fantastic day on the greens! We're thrilled to report the event was a huge success, thanks to the overwhelming support from our generous, Chamber community, participants, and sponsors. You are all appreciated.

A special thank you goes out to Ptacek's Family Market for donating a delicious lunch that fueled our golfers throughout the day (the jalapeno and cranberry cheddar brats were amazing)! Thank you, Quinn Motors for your incredible offering of the hole-in-one contest for a chance to win a 2026 GMC Acadia and raffle prize. Beat the Pro by Backswing Events was in full swing with Lady Professional Golfer, Jaycee Rhodes. Thanks to this great event, Backswing will provide a donation to the Chamber and 2025 Non-Profit of the Year, Our Neighbor's Place - it was a win-win-win for the chamber, ONP, and the golfers!

We're also incredibly grateful for the support we received from the City of River Falls and Family Fresh in River Falls, both of whom played vital roles in making this event possible.

The competition was fierce, but in the end, The Commerce Team emerged as our winning foursome! Congratulations to them and to all the golfers who participated and made the day so memorable. Thanks to the River Falls Golf Club for not only hosting our event but for your hospitality and support of all things, community.

We deeply appreciate everyone who came out to support us. Your enthusiasm and participation made this tournament an event to remember!

The River Falls Chamber of Commerce recently celebrated the graduation of the Leadership River Falls Class of 2025–2026 during a special gathering at West Wind Supper Club. Thank you for hosting West Wind Supper Club!
Throughout the eight-month program, participants explored many facets of the River Falls community while developing leadership skills and building valuable connections. The class experienced the creativity and energy behind the community’s arts and culture sector, as well as the dedication to customer service and hospitality that supports local businesses and restaurants. Participants also witnessed the important work of local nonprofit organizations and gained insight into the innovation and resilience that drive the region’s business and agricultural industries.
Additional program days focused on natural resources and sustainability, education, and city government, providing participants with a deeper understanding of the people, organizations, and systems that help River Falls thrive.
As part of the program, Melissa Wilson of Chippewa Valley Technical College led sessions focused on leadership strengths and personal development. Participants explored communication styles, teamwork, and the importance of continued growth as leaders both professionally and personally.
Beyond the educational experiences, the Leadership River Falls class formed meaningful relationships, shared new experiences, and challenged themselves to step outside of their comfort zones throughout the program.
While the 2025–2026 Leadership River Falls program has officially concluded, the Chamber hopes participants will continue using the knowledge, connections, and leadership skills gained through the experience to make a positive impact throughout the community for years to come.
