I may be in Alaska , but I can’t miss sharing the news of Christmas at Walt Disney World! Disney has announced the return of both Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!

🎄✨ Just announced: Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is BACK for the 2025 holiday season at Magic Kingdom! ✨🎄

If you’ve ever dreamed of seeing Disney sparkle with holiday magic, this is the event to do it! Think snow falling on Main Street, special holiday parades, cookies and cocoa, shorter ride lines, and exclusive entertainment you won’t see during regular park hours.

🎁 Important to know:

This is a separate ticketed event

Magic Kingdom closes at 6 PM on party nights for day guests

Party dates begin mid-November and run through December 22nd

This is hands down my favorite Disney holiday event—it sells out fast, so if you're thinking about going, now is the time to start planning!

As we wrapped up our amazing vacation in California before heading North, we spent our final Disney Day in the most magical way. I am very blessed to have a family and friends who enjoy the magic of Disney and all the wonderful memories we can share. On this trip especially, I was lucky to share it with my husband, daughter, sister and best friend. These opportunities do not often appear, but this one was special and allowed us to visit the Disneyland Resort for a hectic and enjoyable trip!

Disneyland is so much different from the world! From the rides and set up to the food and entertainment, it is so very different and to me, so very special and wonderful!

We finished off our Disney days by again visiting both parks and doing as much as we could! We did miss something’s, but others we did multiple times, so that was the trade off (honestly, it just gives me a reason to return!)

As our last hurrah, we surprised both Ken and Lauren with the Disney Dining in Galaxy’s Edge. With the meal, you received a bento box of food, as well as unlimited soft drinks and specialty beverages. In addition, we had a special viewing area for the 2 night time shows in Galaxy’s Edge! It was a wonderful experience. The food was interesting, but it was mainly about the experience for Lauren (oh, and Ken too). They both were very pleased!

What a vacation to Disney it was. We then headed to Seattle to spend a few days before our cruise. You know we didn’t rest, so stay tuned for more adventure time!

Disney Day 4!

It has been a crazy busy few days and we just keep going! Today we started out again at California Adventure and Lauren took a dance class with a Disney Professional. She said it was an amazing experience and she was so glad they got to do it!

While Lauren was in class we bopped around the park using some Lightning Lanes, but also did some single rider lines.

When she finished, we headed over to Disneyland Park and finally got some time in and knocked out a great number of rides. We headed back to California Adventure to do the dessert party. This is not at all like the one in the Magic Kingdom in Orlando, but I am glad that I experienced this.

Then I did the party again….because I messed up my ticket purchases 😂 and Ken and Lauren went back and did so many rides together in the Magic Kingdom park.

Day 3 of our California adventure took us to Universal Studios Hollywood! Wow! To even think that a theme park would be built into a mountain side was crazy! They have lots of escalators to get from level to level! The park is very nice and we got a lot done. However, I’m so glad we paid the extra money to get in early! It was a game changer for us!

Lauren also danced at Citywalk! We had lunch at Toothsome and tried cooling off! It was a hot one this day!

Let’s chat…. Being in a place that is new to you can certainly be overwhelming! Taking on Disneyland is a completely different experience! With all the times I have been to Walt Disney World, I envisioned myself as being able to tackle the land easily. They are not the same, but they are both equally special and amazing. I will not compare them because to me, they are not the same. Walking into Disneyland has a completely different feel that is different and unique. Knowing that Walt and Roy spent time here, walked the streets and built this from nothing means so much to so many.

We have now done several days at both of the Disneyland parks, but I’ll just share some highlights of our adventures!

I’m learning so much here at Disneyland! It is definitely a different world and experience out here! This is my 4th time out here, but so much has changed in 10 years that it is a whole new learning experience!

Yesterday, we started by visiting Magic Kingdom! Walking in and knowing that this is where it all started is super surreal! Goose bumps and all!

We rode Big Thunder Mountain first with almost no wait. While in line we scheduled our first Lightning Lane for Indiana Jones! LL is only one per time, so it is very different and you can’t book until you have scanned in! Eek!

We then did a tour for the 70th Birthday! We visited many attractions that were originally in the park at opening day and heard lots of facts and stories!

Once that was completed we started our rides! We did get a lot accomplished and even slipped over to California Adventure!

We finished the night in a reserved area for the Paint the Night parade! This was part of the tour package!

We arrived in Los Angeles last night and grabbed an airport hotel because it was most convenient with our arrival time. Today, we decided to see some sights in LA before heading to our Good Neighbor Hotel in Anaheim. We are located across the street from Disneyland! I can let you know how far it is when I walk tomorrow! For now, here are some of the sites we visited!

My father became a Disney adult when he and my mother traveled there for the first time in 1971! From there, he created Disney adults in my sister and myself. Now..... Lauren has the ultimate Disney Adults in her life. We are so lucky that we have such incredible memories in Walt Disney World. I am forever grateful for the memories and experiences that we share each and every trip!

Only a week to go before we take on Disneyland! So exciting for us to be there and to watch Lauren take the stage!

Our summer vacation begins once I finally get out of school! We will be starting our summer adventures in Disneyland and celebrating the 70th anniversary of Disneyland! It has been over 10 years since we have made the trek across the country to the West Coast! To say we are excited is an understatement!
