UPDATE*** UPDATE***UPDATE!***
We must clarify: Due to misinformation, it was NOT the DEP’s decision to terminate our contract. Although there was no default on our part and no justification to end our partnership, it is out of our hands at this point. The DEP hears your voices (thank you to those who wrote letters), and is fighting for environmental protection like they always have! Stay tuned! We will let you know our next move as we are proud to operate transparently!!!
It is with heavy hearts to announce,
the Florida DEP has decided to terminate our paddleboarding concession contract at MacArthur Park.
It has been a dream come true to partner with the Florida Park Service especially the Park Rangers and volunteers that work tirelessly to preserve the natural beauty of Florida.
That being said, we are NOT going out of business! We will still offer guided tours and snorkeling adventures! We are actively looking for a new location, and for now will go back to our roots as a mobile operation.
