✨ HUGE Disney Parks News from D23! ✨
Disney just dropped a LOT of exciting announcements for the future of Walt Disney World, and there is so much to look forward to!
👀✨ Here are some of the biggest highlights:
💜 FIGMENT + DREAMFINDER ARE REUNITED!
EPCOT’s Journey Into Imagination is getting a reimagining, and the long-awaited return of Dreamfinder alongside Figment is officially happening!
👹 MONSTROPOLIS IS COMING TO HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS!
Guests will begin entering the world of Monsters, Inc. in 2027! Portions of the new land are expected to open first, with the highly anticipated Door Vault suspended coaster following later. 🎢
🎶 Plus, Randy Newman has created a brand-new song, “Welcome to Monstropolis,” which will also be featured in a new theater show starring Mike and Sulley!
🌺 TROPICAL AMERICAS IS COMING TO ANIMAL KINGDOM in 2027!
The new land will bring the world of Encanto and Indiana Jones to life!
🦋 Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto will take guests through Casita and into Antonio’s incredible rainforest room, featuring more than 50 animal figures and Audio-Animatronics. Even better? There will be no height requirement! 🌿✨
🐍🤠 Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent will bring an all-new Indy adventure to Animal Kingdom—and yes, Harrison Ford himself was used as the model for the new Indiana Jones Audio-Animatronic!
🎠 El Carousel de los Animalitos will feature 22 unique animals inspired by Disney characters. 🐾
🏔️ THE YETI IS FINALLY MOVING AGAIN! 😱
After years of the infamous “Disco Yeti,” Disney announced plans to restore the legendary Yeti inside Expedition Everest so it can once again move as originally intended! 🙌
🌐 SPACESHIP EARTH IS GETTING A NEW STORY!
EPCOT’s iconic attraction is being reimagined with a renewed focus on human connection, while still celebrating its classic journey through history and human progress. ✨
🎠 CAROUSEL OF PROGRESS IS GETTING A MAJOR UPDATE!
A refreshed version is expected in late spring 2027, including a brand-new 1980s scene! Bryan Cranston will voice John, while Jamie Lee Curtis will voice Sarah.
And yes… 🎶 “There’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow” is staying!
🚗🏔️ PISTON PEAK NATIONAL PARK
A new Cars-inspired land is also on the horizon!
🏁 Cars Ridge Run Rally will send guests racing through an off-road adventure inspired by the American wilderness, complete with mountains, rivers and geysers.
🚙 And Miss Fritter’s Daredevil Spin Along will bring a second attraction to the land!
😈🏰 VILLAINS LAND
Disney also shared more details about the massive new Villains Land coming to Magic Kingdom—including a mysterious and eerie Dark Forest! 🌲🖤
The land is expected to feature a Maleficent roller coaster, a water ride thru the catacombs of the Evil Queen’s Castle, the dark forest, dining, shopping and plenty of Disney villains we all know and love to hate.
Disney is giving us A LOT to look forward to in the years ahead!
