Join Roanoke County Parks, Recreation and Tourism, on Saturday, April 25, 2026, as we travel to the Barter Theatre in Abingdon, VA to see a heartfelt musical celebrating the life and career of country music legend, Patsy Cline. This musical tribute is based on a true story and full of emotion, humor, and even some audience participation! Cost of $99 includes transportation, ticket to the show, and tour host. Meals are on your own. Depart from Brambleton Center at 8:00am with additional pickups at Food Lion in Salem, VA at 8:20am and Hardee's in Christiansburg, VA at 8:40am. Return time is around 8:00pm.

Join Botetourt County Parks & Recreation and Roanoke Tours, Inc., on Saturday-Monday, March 28-30, 2026, as we take the motor coach to Washington, DC at Cherry Blossom Time.
DAY 1: We will travel in the comfort of a video and restroom equipped Motorcoach as we head for your destination: Washington, DC. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy a visit to the Smithsonian Institution. Afterwards, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before checking into your Washington, D.C. area hotel for two nights.
DAY 2: After a Continental Breakfast, you’ll depart for a full-day Guided Tour of Washington, D.C. Some of the awe-inspiring sights on this fantastic tour will include the US Capitol, the White House, the National Archives, Embassy Row, and Georgetown. During the day, you will see the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial, and several War Memorials. This evening, enjoy Dinner at a local restaurant before continuing on the Guided Memorial and Monuments Tour.
DAY 3: After enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you will check out of your hotel. Today’s Guided Tour includes such poignant and inspirational sights as Arlington National Cemetery, including the Tomb of the Unknowns, the Kennedy Graves, as well as the Iwo Jima Memorial. Join Roanoke County Parks, Recreation and Tourism on Monday, December 8, 2025, as we travel to Bristol. The region's most dazzling holiday light show returns to Bristol Motor Speedway and Dragway. Food City Speedway In Lights, Powered by TVA, is a 4-mile trek through 3 million lights and the chance to take a lap around "The World's Fastest Half-Mile." Holiday light seekers will circle the concrete oval as part of their festive drive and also may visit the Christmas Village, which returns to its popular infield location.
Prior to the Speedway, we stop at the new Hard Rock @ Bristol VirginiaVirginia. You will be able to have dinner there before we depart for the Speedway.
