Sharon here! We’ve had quite a few new followers over the past several months, so I thought I’d hop on here and reintroduce myself!

There are few things I love more than cycling, traveling, and entertaining, which is exactly why I started Magical Mystery Bike Tours back in 2017. MMBT has given me the opportunity to share some of the beautiful, often overlooked places around our country with others. It also allows me to meet a whole lot of incredible people along the way. For those of you who have joined me on a tour before, you know I’m all about having fun, relaxing, enjoying the ride, and making sure there’s plenty of good food and laughter mixed in.

I’m incredibly thankful for everyone who has supported my little “retirement gig” over the years. Whether you’ve joined us for a ride, recommended MMBT to a friend, liked or shared a post, or simply encouraged me along the way, it means more than you know!

This tour is a favorite year after year. Once a railroad that carried timber from West Virginia's remote mountain forests, the Greenbrier River Trail has been transformed into a beautiful 78-mile trail winding alongside the river, across historic bridges, and through two impressive tunnels. And there may be no better time to experience it than in fall, with cooler riding weather and the mountains showing off their autumn colors.

Suspect Wanted for the “Killing” Every Bike Tour She Organized in 2026

ROANOKE, VA — Authorities are searching for a local bicycle tour organizer believed to be responsible for “killing” every bike tour she planned in 2026.

According to investigators, the suspect left behind a trail of absolutely unforgettable vacations, causing cyclists to immediately book another trip and convince all of their friends to come along.

The suspect is considered extremely organized and should not be underestimated.

Police say the evidence against her includes:

Perfectly planned routes.
Flawlessly timed rest stops.
Snack tables appearing exactly when cyclists needed them most.
Guests who refuse to travel with any other tour company.

Authorities believe the suspect is armed with nothing more than a clipboard, laminated cue sheets, color-coded spreadsheets, and an unhealthy obsession with making sure every guest has the best week of their lives.

Investigators say she has been seen:

Personally driving every route before the tour.
Memorizing every bakery, coffee shop, and ice cream stop along the way.
Carrying enough spare bike parts to repair an entire group.
Having backup plans for her backup plans.
Somehow getting 15 cyclists rolling on time every morning.

The suspect is wanted on multiple charges, including:

First-degree destruction of ordinary vacations.
Possession of excessive organizational skills.
Aggravated use of spreadsheets.
Reckless planning with intent to create lifelong memories.

WARNING: If you encounter this individual, do not resist. Simply enjoy the vacation, eat the snacks, and prepare for one of the best bike tours of your life.

Authorities report that several detectives assigned to the case have mysteriously signed up for next year’s tour “to continue the investigation.” The suspect remains at large… most likely planning the next unforgettable adventure.

To celebrate the 250th birthday of Virginia and the United States, News Anchor John Carlin joined a group of cyclists as they rode across Virginia from West to East taking in the scenery and the history as well as the mountains and the brutal heat wave of July 2026.

We have been busy supporting our riders over the last ten days. Here is a recap of our journey across the State of Virginia from the Appalachian Mountains to the York River in Yorktown VA. What a great group we had!

This group of riders rode over 450 miles and climbed over 22,000 feet of elevation. Cheers to a great accomplishment! 🥂 🙌

Look over our wide variety of tours in 2027. We offer easier options such as four day tours on rail trails to more difficult seven to ten day tours where you ride on the roads. We have something for everyone!
