Sigma Chi - Lambda Kappa Our fundamental purpose is the cultivation, maintenance and accomplishment of the ideals of friendship, justice and learning within our membership.

At Rochester Institute of Technology, Sigma Chi offers students an opportunity to devote themselves to these three principles for the purpose of blazing a path unique to any other experience on campus. Our lifelong devotion to one another and to our guiding principles have formed the strongest bonds of friendship, while our ability to hold ourselves and our peers accountable has engendered justice into our everyday lives. When men devote themselves to these to principles, he commits himself to the highest form of true learning, both about himself and about those who make up his community.
