Checking in from the southern shore of beautiful Lake Ontario. ❣️
Did you know that Lake Ontario’s name has roots in the indigenous languages and cultures of our region?
The word “Ontario” comes from the Iroquoian word “oniatarí:io,” which means “lake of shining waters,” which if you ask us is the perfect way to describe our Great Lake.
