It’s integrated amplifier week at Hi Fi Lounge. Some diverse units recently in: Rogue Sphinx II tube/solid state hybrid.. A current model NAD C328 W/ Bluetooth input on board.. Marantz PM8003.. And a quite rare OCM/Soloist unit from the Rochester based, but internationally known Dave Belles.. All these beauties have been tested and serviced where necessary. We like to keep unpleasant surprises to a minimum around here. Thanks, Mark

It’s funny how things come in waves around here sometimes. Got 3 nice turntable/phono preamps in recently. All of them tested, and good quality units. Cambridge 540P $109.00... Darlington MM6B , six months old $195.. And a higher end piece, Musical Surroundings Phonomena II+ $395..

We don’t rebuild many power amps for resale here. We’re pretty busy doing customer units. But if something is special enough, I just can’t let sit. The Onkyo Integra M-504 is one of those.. Onkyo’s most successful design ever, it was in production for a full 10 years, which is very unusual in the world of audio. A lot of time and a lot of new parts were spent on this one. Every electrolytic capacitor has been updated. And it meets original factory spec. Please come and buy it, before I keep it.

The good news: the Wharfedale Super Lintons have been a tremendous success, both here and and around the world. The bad news had been that Wharfdale (and we) ran clean out of them around the holidays..That changed today, in a big way.. I’m tempted to get into some flowery language here about how they sound . But suffice to say, these are speakers for the long haul, end game speakers for the majority of people who buy them. And when all’s said and done, a helluva value proposition.

I have to have my LP orders by Wed 2/19 for Record Store Day, which is April 12 this year. It's a pretty long list this time.

Out for sale today. McIntosh 2505, lovingly restored by us. All electrolytics replaced etc, etc. Unit EXCEEDS factory spec. Apples to apples, you will not do this good on EBay.
