A lovely review from some folks not on Facebook...

Dear Kim and all our new friends,

What a great time Barbara and I had in Namibia with you all! It was an experience of a lifetime. I have been working on a "slideshow" presentation condensing the 600+ images we returned with down to a manageable 60 or so for our extended family to view as a slideshow with recorded audio commentary. This has been an absorbing and gratifying task, we have pics of all the big game animals we had hoped to encounter, especially the African leopard.

A web search turned up the quotation:
"Leopards can be the most challenging animals to photograph in the wild. Elusive and shy, leopards are masters of disguise, often seamlessly blending into the background. Of the Big 5, it is the one that most visitors to Africa never see."

Though aided by a radio-location collar, the Erindi driver, Jeremiah, tenaciously tracked the leopard to give me an opportunity to capture the attached image (note that the leopard's markings are rosettes, unlike the simple spots of a cheetah).
I was impressed by the depth of knowledge and professionalism of all staff members we encountered at the Cheetah Preserve and Erindi Safari cites.
