Day 6. The last day in paradise. We started our morning off with fresh baked empanadas from a local gal on Jost Van D**e. We then snorkled at the Indians and the caves. The Indians were very cool and definitely a highlight from our week.
I got to drive the dinghy!
We stayed at Norman island for the night and jumped off the boat at W***y T. We took a night ride and had two dolphins swimming right next to our boat. They were so close we could’ve touched them. Wow!

Today on day 7 we are headed back home. We had one last breakfast on the boat. I can’t say enough about how incredibly the food was all week, and that Allie - our chef did such an amazing job.

If you’ve enjoyed following along all week, give me a call - I’d love to set you up on a trip of a lifetime! This is definitely on the top of my list as best vacations so far 😊

Day 5. My dad and Jess took a ride on his dinghy and saw water falls and goats. There’s not normally waterfalls, but they got to see them because of all the rain we got the day before. What a cool experince. We spent the day at Jost Van D**e and spent the whole day on a white sandy beach with crystal clear blue water. We went to the Soggy Dollar Bar. Fun story - you used to have to jump off your boat and swim to get to this bar, so you would have wet money which is why it’s called the Soggy Dollar bar! We ended our night with a full moon.

Day 4. Relaxation day. Today was the definition of R&R. Except for Austin, he hiked Mount Alma and saw some amazing views of the islands. My dad got his dinghy personally delivered to our boat in the morning so he could have his own boat to drive around on. He’s very excited about his dinghy. It rained most of the day, so we enjoyed the peaceful sound of rain and took lots of naps and played cards.

Day 3. We made the 3 hour trek early in the morning to head over to Anegada and rented scooters for the day. We saw chickens, goats, and cows on the roads! We stopped at the Anegada Beach Club and relaxed for the afternoon. Austin taught our captain how to play cribbage, a little too well.. Pete beat him after his very first game playing.
Pete and Allie recommended that we eat dinner on the island at the Wonky dog. We placed our order in the morning so they could catch it that day. The lobster was incredible.

Day 2. We sailed to Virgin Gorda in the morning and explored The Baths. Such an incredible experience! We ended our night on Bitter End and enjoyed happy hour on Saba Rock and even played pool. Happy birthday Christine! Our chef, Allie, made the most delicious birthday cake and decorated the boat for Christine’s birthday. Our crew really went above and beyond.

Day 1. Long travel day, but totally worth it!
