If you could wake up anywhere tomorrow, where would it be?

That's the part of cruising people underestimate. You go to sleep in one place and open the curtains somewhere else.

No repacking. No airport transfers. No 6 am hotel checkout.
But the three destinations in this post aren't interchangeable, and neither are the ships that serve them.

Alaska is a balcony destination, glaciers and wildlife happen on the water, not in port.

Santorini is about arrival and timing; ships anchor in the caldera, and the island fills up by mid-morning.

French Polynesia belongs to smaller ships, because the lagoons the big ones can't enter are the reason you're going.
