This city is amazing! Not only is Verona home to an incredible Roman amphitheater built around 30AD, as well as the famous Juliette’s balcony that inspired Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliette, but the proximity to Lake Garda, the Italian alps and stunning northern lakes makes it a perfect location to explore other fantastic areas nearby.

A quick hour on the train can take you to nearby Milan, or Venice. Less than 3 hours will take you Florence. A 3-hour trip by car will take you to the heart of the Dolomites. As I said, the perfect location to live la dolce vita! 🇮🇹

We are currently on Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 transatlantic crossing from Southampton to New York.
Lovely ship and you can even bring your pets! They have a kennel onboard and you can walk and spend time with your furry 4-legged kids!
Countless cups of tea and games of trivia have made this 8-day crossing far better than any flight.
It’s a great way to get to or from Europe any time of the year!

Currently onboard the Island Princess for two segments of their World Cruise 2025, from Sydney to Rome! ⚓️🛟🌍
We stop in Melbourne, Perth, Mauritius, Cape Town, Namibia, Cape Verde, Maderia, Gibraltar, Siracusa, Athens, Patmos, Kudasai (Ephesus), Rhodes, Crete, Dubrovnik, Bar, Taranto, Malta, and disembarking in Civitavecchia (Rome). 58 days for these two segments, but 800 passengers onboard are going all the way round, America to America. 🌎
