Just a quick promo for Rocktoberfest with Neil at Bob FM, had a good opportunity to talk about the bands, history and event in general.

One thing that came up that people may not know is that Rocktoberfest supports the Rockford Fire Department and Fire Auxiliary, as well as the Rockford Area historical Society. The F.D. Auxiliary sells wristbands for beers, holds a 50/50 raffle and sells food at the event, with all proceeds raised directly supporting the Rockford Fire Fighters and Fire Department. The Rockford Area Historical Society runs the Beer Garden, with all proceeds supporting their efforts to preserve and share the history of the Rockford Area.

Stop on out this Saturday and party for a cause! 4 Bands, 2 Stages, 1 heck of a free community concert that supports our Firefighters and helps preserve and share Rockford History!

I know it is short notice, but if you are free and interested, we have the Delano 4th of July Parade. Meet at 10:30am. Please wear your WTA shirt, TKD pants, and belt. Bring water and sun screen. Let me know if you can make it.

It is one of the biggest and fun parades to check out.
