🇭🇷 Heading to Dubrovnik? Get the Dubrovnik Pass. 👏

We grabbed the Dubrovnik Pass for our time in the city, and one of the biggest reasons I’d recommend it is that entrance to the Dubrovnik City Walls is included!

And the City Walls are an absolute MUST.

Walking the walls takes you all the way around Dubrovnik’s Old Town with incredible views over the orange rooftops, the Adriatic Sea, Fort Lovrijenac, and the city below. 😍

We went right at 8 AM, and I HIGHLY recommend doing the same. It was cooler, less crowded, and made the whole experience so much more enjoyable before the city really filled up for the day.

The Dubrovnik Pass also includes access to other attractions around the city AND public transportation, so instead of purchasing everything individually, it can be a really good value depending on what you plan to see.

But honestly… the City Walls alone were one of my favorite things we did in Dubrovnik. 🇭🇷

If you’re planning a trip here:

✨ Start the walls EARLY
✨ Wear comfortable shoes
✨ Bring water
✨ And prepare to stop approximately every 30 seconds for another photo 😂

🐉 Game of Thrones fans… Dubrovnik is basically King’s Landing in real life.

We did a Game of Thrones walking tour through Dubrovnik and got to see SO many of the actual filming locations used throughout the series.

We walked through spots used as King’s Landing, saw the famous steps from Cersei’s Walk of Shame, visited Fort Lovrijenac (aka the Red Keep 👀), and our guide showed us photos from the show while we were standing in the exact places where scenes were filmed.

Then we took the boat over to Lokrum Island, which was also used as a filming location for Qarth!

And possibly the coolest part for any GOT fan… there’s an actual Iron Throne on the island that was donated by HBO. Obviously, we had to sit on it. 😂👑🐉

Even beyond Game of Thrones, this ended up being such a fun way to explore Dubrovnik. You get to see so much of the city, hear some behind-the-scenes filming stories, AND visit Lokrum all in one experience.

If you’re a Game of Thrones fan and heading to Dubrovnik, I would 100% put a GOT tour on your itinerary.

🇭🇷 One thing to add to your Dubrovnik itinerary: the cable car! 🚠

We took the Dubrovnik Cable Car up to Mount Srđ and the views from the top were INCREDIBLE. You can see all of Old Town, the city walls, the Adriatic, and the surrounding islands from above. 😍

The cable car is €30 per person round trip, and for us, it was absolutely worth doing!

The ride itself is super quick, but make sure you give yourself some time at the top to walk around, take in the views, and obviously take approximately 500 photos. 😂📸

We’ve done a LOT in Dubrovnik, but seeing the city from up here was definitely one of those “okay WOW” moments.

Disney Cruise Line has another NEW ship coming... and we just got our first look at what's in store! 🚢✨

The Disney Believe is scheduled to set sail in late 2027 and will be the fourth ship in Disney's Wish class.

The theme? ✨ Promise and possibilities.

And Disney is pulling inspiration from some seriously good movies...

🌸 Encanto
❄️ Frozen
🍎 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
🧜‍♀️ The Little Mermaid

Moana will welcome guests in the ship's Grand Hall, Tinker Bell will be featured on the bow, and Buzz & Woody will be getting into some trouble on the stern. 😂

Disney has said there are even more brand-new venues and entertainment experiences still to be revealed, so this is definitely one I'll be watching as we get closer to 2027!

Disney Cruise Line is expanding SO quickly right now, and I can't wait to see what else they announce for the Believe. 🚢💙

And we’re OFF! ✈️

Croatia + Greece, here we come!

I’ve been looking forward to this trip for SO long, and I cannot wait to experience these destinations for myself, take approximately 9,000 photos 😂, eat everything in sight, and bring you guys along with me!

We’ll be exploring Croatia and Greece through September 8, and you KNOW I’ll be sharing plenty along the way. 👀

One of my favorite parts of traveling as a travel advisor is getting to experience destinations firsthand. I’m always paying attention to the hotels, transportation, excursions, neighborhoods, logistics and all those little things that you just can’t fully understand until you’ve actually been there.

But also... I am absolutely on vacation. 😂🍹

So while I’m away, I’ll have very limited availability and will be prioritizing clients who are currently traveling or need urgent assistance. New quotes and trip planning will resume when I’m back!

The Westin Reserva Conchal, Costa Rica 🇨🇷🌿

This one gets a 9.8/10 from me!

I LOVED this resort.

🍽️ First of all, the FOOD. Some of the best food I've had at an all-inclusive resort. There were so many great options, and this was definitely one of those resorts where I actually looked forward to every meal. 😂

🌿 The property itself is gorgeous. It's lush, tropical, jungley and spread out enough that you really feel like you're in Costa Rica without the resort feeling overwhelmingly huge.

🛏️ Our room was lovely, spacious and comfortable, and the entire property had such a relaxing feel.

🐒 And THE MONKEYS. I absolutely loved seeing wildlife around the resort. There's just something about casually seeing monkeys while walking around your hotel that reminds you you're definitely not at your average Caribbean all-inclusive. 😂

I also loved that this gives you the best of both worlds. You can have that relaxing all-inclusive resort vacation, but you're also in COSTA RICA with so much adventure, wildlife and exploring available outside the resort.

⭐ Claire's Rating: 9.8/10

Worth the hype? ABSOLUTELY.

✈️ Travel Tip Tuesday 🌴

If the beach is one of the most important parts of your vacation, don’t choose a resort just because it says “beachfront.”

Beachfront does NOT necessarily mean calm, turquoise, swimmable water. 👀🌊

Depending on the resort and location, you could have rough water, rocks, seasonal seaweed, or conditions that simply aren’t ideal for swimming.

And two resorts in the exact same destination can have VERY different beaches!

That’s why when I’m comparing resorts, I’m not only looking at the rooms, restaurants and pools. I’m looking at the actual beach too, especially when a great beach is high on my client’s priority list.

If your dream vacation involves spending half the day floating in beautiful ocean water, make sure the beach you’re booking actually matches that dream. 🌴💙
