Meet Captain Jim Beauvais ⛵

Captain Jim Beauvais has been navigating the waters of Ipswich Bay since the age of 10. A former member of the Ipswich Bay Yacht Club and current member of the Sandy Bay Yacht Club in Rockport, his maritime experience spans decades. Jim has completed nine voyages to Bermuda, extensively cruised the British Virgin Islands, and explored the Maine coast as far east as North Haven. He holds a U.S. Coast Guard Captain's certification, underscoring his commitment to safety and professionalism.​ Beyond his credentials, Captain Jim is known for his engaging storytelling and deep knowledge of local maritime history.
