We had a little friend visit us the other day. No mama to be seen so we called the SSC, and they took her to be evaluated.

So the first year we (Clay and Jen) started North Shore, this fawn showed up on Straitsmouth (5 years ago). How it got here, no one knows for sure but my best theory is something (coyote, human, dog?) Spooked it and it ran into the water and washed ashore on the island. I haven't seen it since, but always see it's tracks. Finally it decided to make an appearance right in front of Thacher island! Good omen, bad omen who knows or cares!!
